"I enjoy mixing the art of language with the art of imagery. I am fascinated by ancient languages such as Latin. I like to explore words and their meanings. After all, most paintings are conceived from or defined by words.
In my painting Museum Quality, for example, “museum quality” typically refers to the quality of the materials used. However, I intended it to refer to the quality of the image itself. What constitutes a museum quality image? Also, I enjoy injecting some humor in my work on occasion."

Phoenix-based artist Jeff Case was born in Zanesville, Ohio in 1973. His artistic career began in high school when his art teacher asked him to paint a large, abstract mural on the wall outside the classroom. Case incorporates a mix of media in his work, especially spray paint, oil stick, colored pencil, latex, tempera, and acrylic paints. Case also produces small-scale abstract sculpture made mostly from cardboard, wood, wire, metal, bubble wrap, duct tape, and found materials. Jeff graduated from ASU with a BA in Design Studies, The Built Environment.
